Completed works - 2011

When I first started painting with pastels, in April of 2011, I decided to focus on the landscapes of Washington Park in Springfield, IL. As I've become more familiar with the medium, I've started to paint other landscapes, both in Illinois and in places I've lived or visited. I enjoy the experience of en plein air, but most of the work presented here was done in studio from my own photographic reference material.
